The joy of running a 1989 Volkswagen Golf Mark2 1.8 GTI 16V. All the experiences running an iconic 80s car as a daily vehicle. The VW Golf Mk2 was introduced in 1984 and my 1989 16V GTi model was released just before the "big bumper" revisions which were sold from late 1989.
There seem to be plenty of rear badges available for early Mk2 VW Golfs but later ones from 1987 onwards with the centre rear badge are much harder to come by.
